Dr. Zachary Robbins - Superintendent and Educational Policy Leader
Dr. Zachary “Zac” Robbins is an experienced educator and educational policy researcher, fostering inclusivity and efficiency in the educational sector. Between 2007 and 2022, Dr. Zachary Robbins worked as principal at Cheyenne High School. He managed a $9 million budget and oversaw 175 employees, helping the school receive the Nevada Department of Education's “Autonomous Designation.”
In 2022, Dr. Zachary Robbins became superintendent of schools at Marysville School District 25. In this role, he increased the percentage of students attending school 90 percent of the time by seven percent. He also raised the four-year graduation rate from 81 percent to 83 percent and increased participation in Advanced Placement. He also introduced competency-based learning opportunities and implemented district-wide LETRS training to strengthen literacy instruction.
Dr. Zac Robbins’ leadership extended beyond academics to fiscal stewardship and community trust-building. When he assumed the superintendency, he inherited a $17 million budget deficit and a district struggling to pass a $108 million education levy. Through transparent engagement and sound fiscal planning, he successfully stabilized the budget and secured levy passage on the first attempt, ensuring critical resources for students and schools.
